NEXT Weather: Warmer, cloudier Monday ahead
MINNEAPOLIS -- Monday will be a warmer day than Sunday, but it will have a lot more cloud cover.
It will reach 80 degrees in the Twin Cities, and be in the mid-to-high 70s in much of the state.
The next chance of rain in the state comes early Tuesday morning across northern Minnesota. That part of the state when then get a second system moving through starting in the early evening.
That system will start heading south late Tuesday and early Wednesday, and may reach the metro during the morning commute. There's also a possibility of late-night thunderstorms on Thursday.
Friday may bring our biggest shot widespread rain this week, along with some scattered thunderstorms.
