NEXT Weather: Dry and sunny streak begins Monday; rain returns late week
MINNEAPOLIS – Monday kicks off a three-day stretch of mostly sunny, dry days in the 50s.
Monday's high of 51 degrees in the Twin Cities is far short of the daily average of 61. Highs from the metro through up north will be in the mid-40s.

The dry streak is great news for several Minnesota rivers that are at or near flood stage. But precipitation will return Thursday, with daily showers possible through Sunday morning.
Thursday's high may reach 60, but temps will drop into the low 50s next weekend.
