Southeastern Minnesota will be the only part of the state under a frost advisory starting Tuesday night. The Twin Cities will cool down to the upper 30s, but no frost is expected.
Wednesday looks pleasant, with sunshine and highs approaching 60 degrees in the metro. Soak it up, because big changes are coming.
The wheels come off on Thursday. It gets windy, clouds increase, and it should be raining by afternoon. It will be a soaker, with many models hinting at 2 inches by the time it wraps up on Saturday. It stays windy the whole time, and it will be cool with highs in the upper 40s on Friday.
The rain should move out on Saturday. Sunday will be nicer with a little sunshine and cool highs in the low 50s.
