NEXT Weather: String of below-average highs should be over this week
MINNEAPOLIS -- Monday will be the last of a string of cool, quiet and comfortable days, as the heat is set to move back in.
There is an air quality alert in effect in west and northwest Minnesota, not including the Twin Cities, until 10 p.m. Tuesday.

On Tuesday, we warm back to average – low-80s – and it won't be humid, yet. There could be some showers and storms west and north later.
Wednesday is our one shot at rain. There could be some thunderstorms, with a marginal risk for severe weather, but this won't be a drought buster. It will be humid on Wednesday as well.
Temps and dew points drop Thursday, and the wind picks up. We do warm again heading into the weekend.
