NEXT Weather: Wednesday brings a return to the 90s
MINNEAPOLIS -- Wednesday will be even hotter and more humid, and we could make a return trip to 90.
On average, there are 13 days a year where we hit 90 degrees. So far this summer, there have been 20 days -- and Wednesday may push that number to 21.
There will be some isolated showers and storms Wednesday mainly north again, but they likely won't be severe.
It may also hit 90 on Thursday, but it gets less humid as the day progresses. Friday looks dry with temps slightly above average.
This weekend, we have a pretty good shot of rain, especially Saturday. The severe threat is low, but we could see a good widespread soaking. It won't cure the drought conditions, but it will help.
