NEXT Weather: Monday will be first #Top10WxDay of 2023
MINNEAPOLIS -- Monday will deliver us a long-waited #Top10WxDay.
This week will bring Minnesota its first 70-degree day of the year, and even the first 80-degree day for some.
Rain will pass through southeastern Minnesota overnight Monday, with the system exiting by 9 a.m. or so.
Monday will be a fabulous, sunny day in the Twin Cities, with a high of 68 degrees – which is about 14 degrees warmer than average. Central and northern Minnesota will be a bit cooler, with temps in the 50s.
Tuesday will be almost 10 degrees warmer in the metro, with a high of 77 and more sunshine. And we may even see an 80-degree day in the metro Wednesday. Thursday will also be warm and quiet, with highs in the upper 70s.
Friday will be cooler, with showers forecasted for the evening. And closer-to-average temps will return next weekend, with highs in the low 50s and more rain chances.
