NEXT Weather: Warmer and sunny Monday, with more wildfire haze
MINNEAPOLIS – Besides some stray showers, there's not a bad weather day in the bunch this week.
There will be a little more haze from Canadian wildfire smoke well up in the atmosphere Monday, and it will be a degree or two warmer, with the Twin Cities' high near 80 degrees.
Tuesday will be hot, but not humid. Highs will be between 80-90 across Minnesota.
A weak front will cool areas from Interstate 94 on north and east for Wednesday, Thursday, and maybe Friday. But "cooler" still means at-or-above average for this time of year.
Warmth will build again through the holiday weekend, and it may be a bit muggy.
Isolated showers and thundershowers are possible Wednesday, and again Saturday through Sunday.
