Tuesday will be much less humid and considerably cooler, with below-average highs. The Twin Cities may make it to 80 degrees. Temps will be cooler in the north and warmer in the south. Southern Minnesota may get some rain Tuesday evening.

It will be a little warmer across southern Minnesota Wednesday, but still not humid. There could be some isolated showers and thunderstorms late Wednesday, but the rain chances are pretty few and far between over the next several days, and drought conditions will likely get worse.

Temps will warm back up into the mid-80s Thursday and Friday. This weekend looks very nice, with temps just below average, no humidity, and plenty of sunshine.

This nicer air will actually stick around for the next several days, which appears to be the trend across the Upper Midwest for the third week of July – and specifically in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
