NEXT Weather: After hot, humid Tuesday, colder air on the way
MINNEAPOLIS -- The air quality on Tuesday will improve throughout the evening, as humidity also drops.
Much of the state saw highs in the 80s with poor air quality. An air quality alert is in effect for eastern Minnesota from the Arrowhead to the Iowa border until 6 p.m.
But Wednesday will see some high temps closer to average: near 80 degrees and less humid.
Thursday will also be quite nice, and Friday will start out dry, but thunderstorms could pop up later in the day. Other than that, there's not much rain in the forecast, according to NEXT Weather Meteorologist Chris Shaffer.
