NEXT Weather: Temperatures return to the 90s by midweek
MINNEAPOLIS -- WCCO's NEXT Weather team says we're headed back into the heat soon.
WCCO meteorologist Chris Shaffer says to expect highs in the upper 80s Tuesday, before reaching the 90s Wednesday and Thursday. There are a few isolated showers and storms possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but most will stay dry.
It will also get a bit humid on Tuesday, and then quite a bit more humid going into the weekend.
The weekend also brings with it our next best chance for rain, with possible showers or thunderstorms on both days. The timing might not be ideal, but much of the state seriously needs the dousing, with many parts in drought conditions.
