NEXT Weather: More isolated thundershowers Tuesday, shot at 80 midweek

NEXT Weather: 10 p.m. report from May 8, 2023

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesotans will enjoy gradually-rising temperatures this week, while dealing with several bursts of rainfall.

Tuesday will be another partly cloudy, generally dry day, with a high of 73 degrees in the metro.

Numerous thundershowers will develop during the late afternoon and evening, mainly in western Minnesota.

Wednesday should start with some morning thundershowers, but then clear out. The metro could see temps hit 80 degrees.

Things turn unsettled again late Thursday or Friday, with scattered thunderstorms off and on through the weekend, some of which could be severe.
