NDSU Bison Football Ranked No. 1 In FCS Preseason Polls

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Five-time defending national champion North Dakota State is ranked No. 1 in both Football Championship Subdivision preseason polls.

The Bison got all 25 first-place votes in the coaches poll, and all but six of the 158 first-place votes in the STATS media poll.

The rest of the top five is the same in both polls — Sam Houston State, Jacksonville State, Richmond and Northern Iowa.

The Bison open at home on Saturday, Aug. 27, against Charleston Southern. The Buccaneers are seventh in the media poll and sixth in the coaches poll.
