Natural gas leak prompts road closure in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- A road in Bloomington was closed Tuesday due to a natural gas leak.

A line on Cavall Avenue and 98th Street Main was struck, leading crews to monitor the air for gas levels. Some buildings were evacuated, according to the Bloomington Fire Department.

Cavall Avenue was closed to traffic while CenterPoint Energy worked to shut off the gas.
