Murdered Fargo Officer Saves Several Lives Via Organ Donation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A fallen North Dakota police officer is credited with helping save the lives of at least five people.
Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer was shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call last week.
Moszer had been with FPD for six years, and before that served as a combat medic in Iraq and Bosnia. He was married with two children.
He was an organ donor and helped five people ranging in age from 26 to 61.

Doctors were able to use his heart, lungs, liver, pancreas and kidneys.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton ordered flags to be flown at half-staff Monday in Moszer's honor.
A public memorial for Moszier will be held Monday at Scheels Arena in Fargo. His funeral follows at 1 p.m.
