Mpls. Police Seek Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspects

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis police are asking the public's help in identifying two men who separately robbed the same bank on the city's south side.

The TCF Bank on 3118 Lake Street was robbed in late October and early December.

The Minneapolis Police Department says the first robbery happened on the afternoon of Oct. 28. A man with a light complexion, around 30 years old, displayed a handgun before the teller, robbed the bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, black hat, baggy black pants, and new Jordan Retro 7 black sneakers with purple and orange highlights.

The second robbery happened on the afternoon of Dec. 3. The man, who appeared to be in his 40s, implied he had a gun to the teller, robbed the bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second suspect is described as having a thin build, wearing sunglasses, a denim jacket, jeans, brown boots, and a white hat with dark lettering.
