Sheriff: Motorcyclist Killed In Ham Lake Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 62-year-old Isanti man has been killed in a motorcycle crash involving another vehicle in Ham Lake early Monday evening, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were dispatched on Monday at 6:10 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of Highway 65 NE and 181st Avenue NE. There, deputies learned the Isanti man had been traveling south on Hwy 65 when he struck an eastbound vehicle that was crossing the southbound lanes of Hwy 65 on 181 Avenue.
Authorities say the driver of the vehicle was an 82-year-old East Bethel woman.
Both drivers were taken to area hospitals. The motorcyclist died shortly after arriving to the hospital.
The woman is in stable condition.
The crash is being investigated.
