Mother Attacked In Cottage Grove Park While Walking Child
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A woman was groped and pulled to the ground while she was taking her child for a walk in a stroller in a Cottage Grove park.
The woman told police that she was walking in Hamlet Park around 10 a.m. Monday when a man grabbed her from behind, covered her face and pulled her to the ground.
The man then "groped her crotch area above the clothes," according to a crime alert from the Cottage Grove Police.
She was unable to look at his face as he ran away, but described him as a stocky male in a reddish yellow jacket wearing black leather gloves.
Officers searched the area after the woman, who did not have a cell phone, reported the incident around 11 a.m.
