More Voters Are Turning In Ballots Early

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Election Day is about three weeks away and early voting is already proving to be more popular this year.

The Secretary of State's Office has released new numbers saying they've accepted more than 22,000 absentee ballots.

That's nearly twice as many than at this point during the last mid-term election in 2010.

There are still about 50,000 absentee ballots that still need to be mailed in.

You can vote in person at your county election office, or send your ballot in by mail, through Nov. 3.

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Minneapolis Friday supporting Gov. Dayton and Sen. Al Franken.

Clinton will be speaking at Northrop Auditorium on the U of M campus at 1 p.m. Friday.
