Moorhead Police Receive Final Autopsy Report On NDSU Student

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) — Moorhead police plan to update the public early next week on the investigation into the killing of a North Dakota State University student.

The Moorhead Police Department said Wednesday it has received the Ramsey County medical examiner's final autopsy report on 18-year-old freshman Thomas Bearson of Sartell. Bearson's body was found outside a recreational vehicle store in Moorhead on Sept. 23, three days after he was last seen at a party about six blocks from his dorm in Fargo, North Dakota.

Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson says investigators have started reviewing the medical report. Police tentatively plan a news conference Monday.

No arrests have been made, and police have not identified a suspect or motive.

Authorities also have not found Bearson's missing mobile phone and tennis shoe.
