Moore, Augustus Power Lynx Past Sun 85-79

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) — Maya Moore scored 26 points and Seimone Augustus had 21 to help Minnesota beat Connecticut 85-79 on Tuesday night, the Sun's fourth straight loss.

Minnesota made all five of its free throws over the final 15 seconds after Chelsea Gray's 3-pointer had pulled Connecticut within three points with 57 seconds remaining.

Rebekkah Brunson added 12 points for Minnesota (10-3), which led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter.

Alex Bentley hit four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points for Connecticut (7-5), which was 11 of 23 from 3-point range.
