Mom, Daughter Rescued After Losing Way In State Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A hike in a Minnesota state park took a scary turn for a mother and daughter Tuesday night.
According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, the duo was reported missing at about 8:17 p.m. in Maplewood State Park near Pelican Rapids.
The mother and daughter say they lost track of their location, and became more disoriented as it became dark.
The state park ranger and deputies were able to locate the women in the park's southern edge.
Both women were not injured.
