Mo. Man Dies After Fight Outside Of Hastings Perkins

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Missouri man has died from his injuries after a fight outside of a Perkins Restaurant in Hastings last week.

According to Hastings Police, 32-year-old Bradley Sanders passed away this week at United Hospital in St. Paul.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance inside of a Perkins on the 1200 block of Vermillion Street just after 3 a.m. on May 9. When officers arrived, they found Sanders, from Bakersfield, Mo., on the ground in the parking lot and unresponsive.

Twenty-seven-year-old James Nathan Phenix (pictured), of West Plains, Mo., was arrested at the scene and taken to Dakota County Jail.

Phenix was released from custody this week pending further investigation.
