MN State Patrol: 305 Crashes, 21 Injured Friday Morning
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol is reminding motorists to use their seat belts, slow down and increase following distances after hundreds of crashes in the metro area Friday morning.
According to the patrol, there were 305 crashes during the 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. rush hour. Twenty-one people suffered injures, but no one was seriously injured.
There were no deaths.
Before and during rush hour, around an inch of light snow fell across most of Minnesota with some windy conditions -- causing blowing and drifting snow.
