Missing 14-year-old girl in central Minnesota found safe, sheriff says
MORRILL TOWNSHIP, Minn. — The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says a missing girl has been located safe.
The 14-year-old girl left her residence late Saturday night and did not return to her residence in Morrill Township off Partridge Road, officials said. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension later issued a missing person report, classifying it as a "juvenile runaway."
On Wednesday, the sheriff's office released an update, saying the girl was located safe.
"We would like to thank the public and all agencies that have helped us out," the sheriff's office said in a social media post.
Morrill Township is located about 29 miles northeast of St. Cloud.
