Wet and windy Tuesday for most of Minnesota, with storms possible
MINNEAPOLIS — Much of Minnesota will see multiple rounds of rain, and potentially even thunderstorms, on Tuesday.
A wind advisory is in effect for the metro from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday's forecast high is 56 degrees.
Rain with non-severe thunderstorms will continue into the night. Scattered showers are possible until the lunch hour on Wednesday. It will still be windy, but the wind advisory will expire by then.
The metro is expected to get an inch of rainfall, with 2 inches closer to Iowa.
Everything starts clearing on Thursday and temperatures fall back to average or slightly below.
The weekend will bring sunshine and highs in the low 40s and upper 50s. Low temps will drop near freezing.
