#Top10WxDay in Twin Cities on Friday, with rainy weekend to follow

NEXT Weather: Noon forecast from Nov. 8, 2024

MINNEAPOLIS — Plenty of sunshine, calm winds and even warmer temperatures are in store for Minnesota on Friday, making it a #Top10WxDay.

Highs will be in the mid 50s, with clouds picking up on Friday night. The Twin Cities' next rainmaker then arrives with showers on Saturday for the Minnesota Deer Opener.

There's some uncertainty in exact timing, but the precipitation looks to start mid-morning for southwest Minnesota and lift northeast into the metro in the afternoon.

Amounts appear minimal, with most of the state only picking up 0.10-0.25 inches.

The spotty light rain will taper off Sunday morning with a drier afternoon on tap.

Despite the clouds, highs both weekend days will remain above average, with the upper 40s on Saturday and low 50s on Sunday.

The work week starts quiet and mild with sunshine and highs still near 50 before another front brings more showers Wednesday and cools us down to end the week.

Temperatures toward the end of next week look fairly seasonable with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low-to-mid 30s
