Severe weather possible on Tuesday, Wednesday in Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS — Clouds increase over the Twin Cities on Monday night, rain showers will roll in overnight, and severe weather is possible on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The threat of severe weather is low but we could hear some rumbles and see some small hail midday in western Wisconsin. Tuesday's high temperature will be in the upper-70s.

Wednesday may be a NEXT Weather Alert day. Temps will warm into the upper-80s and humidity will increase. There will be a slight risk of severe storms, which could initially produce damaging hail. Then it becomes more of a wind threat as it passes over eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin on Wednesday evening through the overnight.

Things will settle down on Thursday, and Friday looks gorgeous at this point.

Saturday may bring another round of rain to the metro.
