More overnight rain in Twin Cities ahead of hot, humid, unsettled week

MINNEAPOLIS — The Twin Cities will stay dry into Monday evening, but there could be another round of rain and storms overnight with a few heavy downpours possible.

Tuesday will be another warm and humid day after the rain clears. Highs will be a few degrees above average around 86.

Wednesday stays hot and humid with another round of rain and storms passing late. Heavy downpours and strong winds are expected.

Things dry out Thursday into the weekend but it will remain hot and humid. Expect highs in the upper 80s to near 90 with the humidity.

Northern lights are possible the next couple of nights but there will be a mixture of clouds and clear skies during these timeframes. While conditions won't be perfect, they will provide at least some time to see the unobstructed sky.
