Cold Thanksgiving week continues; flurries possible Wednesday

MINNEAPOLIS — Temperatures will fall back to the upper teens on Tuesday night in the Twin Cities and clouds will roll in.

On Wednesday, temperatures will remain below freezing. The metro could see some scattered flurries, with the best chance of a small accumulation in western Minnesota. There are no storms in sight, making for great travel weather.

The wind picks up and below-normal temperatures continue on Thanksgiving, with the potential for a few flurries, though nothing significant is expected.

Heading into the weekend, reinforcing cold air will push lows below zero in some areas, with subzero wind chills. 

On Sunday, temperatures plunge further, with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits.
