Police: 2 Hurt, 1 Critically In Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are looking for a suspect after two men were hurt in a shooting Sunday afternoon in north Minneapolis.

The Minneapolis Police Department responded at about 4:30 p.m. to the intersection of 35th and Penn Avenues North on a ShotSpotter activation. When officers arrived, two men had been shot and were sitting inside a parked vehicle.

Both victims were taken to North Memorial Medical Center. One of the men was taken into surgery and is in critical condition. The other suffered non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.

Officers in the Fourth Precinct will be out investigating the incident and speaking with community members. Anyone with information should contact the Minneapolis Police Department at (612) 692-8477.
