Minneapolis Police: Woman Found Shot To Death
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Bloomington woman was found shot to death in south Minneapolis Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to a report of shots fired on the 2400 block of Portland Avenue South Saturday. They were met by a man at the scene who directed them to the body of Ayan Abdi Abdulahi, 21, which was located inside the home.
Officers on scene interviewed those in the area, and say they do not think the death was a "random incident," although they don't have anyone in custody.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and ask anyone with information to contact the Minneapolis Police Department.
