Michele Bachmann's 'Sharknado' Reviews Are In
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The deliberately campy "Sharknado 3" debuted on the SyFy channel Wednesday evening, and there was a cameo by a very familiar Minnesotan.
In the movie, "The Today Show" tosses to a live interview with former Rep. Michele Bachmann to talk about the evacuation of the eastern seaboard as the Sharknado storms swirl about.
"It wasn't anything offensive, it was just fun," Bachmann said about doing the role.
Other cameos included Ann Coulter, playing the Vice President of the United States, and Mark Cuban as the President.
Some said this was a chance for Bachman to show funny side, whereas others were a bit snarkier with their comments on Twitter.
The smartest thing Michele Bachmann has EVER said was a line in #Sharknado3. What a time to be alive.

Michele Bachmann would be the person to talk to about sharks falling out of the sky. She was on the House Intelligence Committee after all.

Most unbelievable moment of any #Sharknado movie so far is Michelle Bachmann sounding sane

I'm bad at politics but wasn't Michele Bachmann already in a Sharknado movie?

Imagine how long it took them to explain to Michelle Bachmann that the sharknado wasn't real
