Memorial service held for Madeline Kingsbury in Winona
WINONA, Minn. – Community healing is continuing in Winona Sunday after the disappearance and death of a Minnesota mother.
A public memorial service was held for Madeline Kingsbury Sunday at Winona State University.

The 27-year-old mother of two went missing on March 31. Her body was found two months later after several widespread searches by law enforcement and community volunteers.
Family and friends spoke Sunday about her impact on her children, the world around her, and her bright future that was tragically cut short.
"Madeline's character was built on a foundation of love, respect and expecting the best from others," said brother Steven Kingsbury. "Over these past months, myself and my family have met countless individuals and groups who can attest to the joy she put out into the world. She deserved reciprocation 10 times over."
Twenty-nine-year-old Adam Fravel, the father of Kingsbury's children, has been charged with her murder. He remains in the Winona County Jail.
