Meet Mankato's Snow Plow Man
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Residents in the Mankato area have had a good Samaritan helping them out during the winter for about a decade now.
When the snow starts flying, Andy Johnson gets going with his plow.
"When they get home, they kind of look around and wonder, 'How did this happen? Who did this for me?'" Johnson said.
He uses his truck and plow to remove snow from people's driveways -- all in the name of neighborly love.
"It's the giving back, doing something nice for others that, you know, you're not there to get any kind of reward for it. You just get the pleasure of, you know, plowing out their driveway," he said.
Johnson does not ask anyone for payment, and he does not stick around for a thank you.
The only sign he was there is snow no longer plugging up the driveway.
