Meeker Co. Sheriff: 10 Lbs. Of Pot, Human Skull Found In Dead Man's Home
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Emergency workers were caught off guard to find 10 pounds of marijuana and a human skull at the Meeker County home of a man who had just died of natural causes.
The sheriff's office says 911 received a report of an unresponsive man Tuesday morning on the 66500 block of 340th Street in Forest City Township.
The man, 77-year-old James Webster, was pronounced dead at the scene, but what crew observed at the home led them to call law enforcement.
Deputies seized marijuana and more than $1,000 in cash, as well as a human skull -- which is being investigated by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.
Investigators are also interviewing a 70-year-old woman who lives in the home.
