Medical Examiner Identifies 22-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Mpls.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the 22-year-old man who died after being shot in the head early Tuesday evening.
Cortney Basel Elvester Woods was found shot at about 5:30 p.m. on the 3900 block of Emerson Avenue North.
Woods was pronounced dead about 24 hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Minneapolis police are investigating.
