MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says a Plymouth woman, killed by her fiancé, died from multiple injuries.
Trisha Nelson, 28, died from multiple gunshot wounds and sharp force injuries.
Police say her longtime boyfriend, Corey Perry, chased her from an SUV then shot her on a busy street in Plymouth last week.

Officers later confronted Perry at the couple's apartment building, and he was killed in a shootout.
Nelson's friends say she considered leaving Perry because he was controlling and emotionally abusive.
Perry's family thinks he had an untreated mental illness.
