McDonalds Reports That Profits Have Beat Estimates

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Have you been eating more fast food recently? If so, you're not alone.

McDonald's saw sales skyrocket in the summer, helped by the introduction of spicy chicken nuggets and a promotion with rapper Travis Scott.

Earnings topped $1.7 billion.

McDonald's says it's introducing a crispy chicken sandwich next year, and creating a plant based burger it will call the McPlant.
