Minneapolis, Denver mayors make tasty wager on Wolves-Mavs series

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson announced a friendly wager between their cities on Wednesday as the Minnesota Timberwolves face the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals.

If the Wolves beat the Mavericks, Johnson says he'll send Frey sweets from the Oak Cliff chocolate shop Dude, Sweet Chocolate.

However, if the Mavericks beat the Wolves, Frey will send his favorite dessert from Dancing Bear Chocolate.

The Mavs beat the Wolves 108-105 in Game 1 on Wednesday night. Game 2 is set for Friday night at Target Center.
