Rosen, DeRusha & 'CCO TV Cited Among City Pages' 'Best Of'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Once again, members of the WCCO-TV team have been honored for being among the best things in the Twin Cities, according to City Pages' annual survey.
Jason DeRusha was named Best TV Newscaster, and the newspaper praised his wit and ability to "switch, sometimes mid-sentence, from dispassionate interviewer to subversively sarcastic clown." The publication also approved of his move to the "WCCO Morning Show."
Mark Rosen, described as the "dean of Twin Cities TV sports personalities," was honored yet again with the title of Best TV Sports Anchor.
And, on top of all this, WCCO-TV was named the Best TV Station. While we are the most-watched station in Minnesota, City Pages says we are also not afraid to be "a channel of the people."
Last year, Amelia Santaniello was named this year's Best TV Newscaster, Mark Rosen was honored as the Best TV Sports Anchor and WCCO Radio's Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl was named Best Columnist.
