MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in a Roseville, Minn. hotel room Friday night and then fled from police has turned himself in.
Khari Samuel Adams, 20, turned himself into the St. Paul Police Department around 11:30 p.m. Friday evening.
Roseville police were searching for Adams earlier Friday evening after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in a hotel room.
According to police, Adams assaulted his 19-year-old girlfriend, brandished a gun in front of others at the Residence Inn Hotel, located on the 2900 block of Centre Point Drive, and then fled.
Employees of a nearby business said Adams may have gotten into their two-story complex. One employee told police Adams had used his cell phone then taken off down a pathway.
The SWAT team searched the company for three hours and ordered all employees and guests out of the building, but were unable to located Adams.
Adams then turned himself into St. Paul police later Friday night.
The Roseville Police Department will present their case file to the Ramsey County Attorny's Office early next week for charging consideration.
Police say that Adams is also wanted for felony terroristic threats, domestic assault and other misdemeanor warrants.
