Man Dead, Woman Hospitalized With Knife Wounds In Apple Valley
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Police responding to a backyard in Apple Valley Monday morning found a man armed with a knife and a woman with multiple knife wounds.
After disarming the man, police noticed a self-inflicted blade wound. The man died on the scene.
The woman was given first aid and taken to Regions Hospital, where her condition is listed as critical.
Police arrived at the home on the 13500 block of Everest Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. after being notified of a vehicle off the roadway.
Police are not releasing the identities of the man or the woman until relatives are informed.
