Man, 22, dead after rollover crash in northern Minnesota

PIKE TOWNSHIP, Minn. — A 22-year-old man is dead and authorities are investigating after a crash in northern Minnesota Friday morning. 

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says it happened on Highway 21 in Pike Township. 

According to authorities, the man was driving southbound on the highway when he lost control of the vehicle, which rolled and hit a tree in a ditch. He died at the scene.

The man is identified by the sheriff's office as Anthony Hall, of Virginia, Minnesota. 

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash. 

Pike Township is around 90 minutes north of Duluth.
