Man Dead In Otter Tail County Rollover Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A South Carolina man is dead in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Otter Tail County.
The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. Friday on westbound Interstate 94 near Cascade Street.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a van driven by 23-year-old Sunanth Anand from Clemson, South Carolina lost control and went off the side of the road.
The van then came back across the road to the right ditch where it rolled several times, killing Anand.
Authorities say he was wearing his seatbelt, and alcohol was not detected in his system.
The van's passenger, 40-year-old Arnaldo Carvalho of Fargo, North Dakota, was not injured.
The state patrol is investigating the crash.
