Lynx Set To Begin 2016 Playoff Run In St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The city of St. Paul will roar Wednesday night as the Minnesota Lynx begin their playoff run at the Xcel Energy Center.
Crews quickly transformed the hockey arena into a basketball court overnight. Cirque du Soleil is at Target Center, so the team will play at The X.
The Lynx finished the regular season with a league-best record of 28-6. Since they are the top-seeded team in the WNBA, they were able to bypass the first two round of the playoffs.
They'll play the Phoenix Mercury in a best of five series tonight. Between the two teams, 11 players competed in the summer Olympics in Rio.
