Love Will Compete In All-Star 3 Point Contest

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The NBA announced Thursday night that Timberwolves Kevin Love will compete in the three-point shootout that's part of All-Star Weekend.

Love won the three-point contest back in 2012 and was recently voted by fans to be a starter in this year's All-Star Game.

He's already made a career-high 107 three-pointers this season, which is 13th in the NBA and fourth among frontcourt players. He's shooting 37.5 percent from the perimeter and had 11 games with at least four made three-pointers. Love is currently fourth in the NBA in scoring (25.6 points) and second in rebounding (13.2).

In 2012, Love beat out Ryan Anderson, Mario Chalmers, Kevin Durant, James Jones and Anthony Morrow to win the three-point contest. This year's contest will be on Saturday night of All-Star Weekend.
