Lotulelei Out, Johnson In For Panthers

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei is out for the second straight game with an ankle injury.

Lotulelei was originally expected back after the team's bye week.

Defensive end Charles Johnson is active for the game at Minnesota, though. He was listed as questionable with an illness. Fullback Mike Tolbert returns to the lineup, too, after an eight-game absence due to a leg injury.

Also inactive for the Panthers are quarterback Joe Webb, cornerback James Dockery, safety Robert Lester, offensive linemen David Foucault and Amini Silatolu and defensive tackle Mecano Regis.

Inactive for the Vikings are cornerback Shaun Prater, running back Jerick McKinnon, fullback Zach Line, linebackers Michael Mauti and Brandon Watts and offensive linemen David Yankey and J'Marcus Webb. McKinnon misses his first game with a back injury.
