Loose Cow In N.D. Keeps Officers Busy For 90 Minutes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in North Dakota were kept udderly busy Friday morning after a cow escaped, according to reports from Bismarck.
The television station KFYR-TV reported that the cow escaped from Kist Livestock as it was being loaded onto a trailer in Mandan, North Dakota.
The cow then ran free, darting in and out of traffic until about 7:30 that morning.
Authorities were able to contain the animal before shipping it out to the farmer who had bought it from Kist.
The television station posted video of the incident, and said that there were no accidents as a result of the loose livestock.
