Lino Lakes Home Heavily Damaged In Fire

LINO LAKES, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities said there were no injuries but a home was heavily damaged in a fire north of the Twin Cities early Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to a home on Shadow Lake Drive in Lino Lakes after a fire broke out at about 2:30 a.m. When crews arrived, flames were so intense that they had to evacuate nearby homes. Firefighters were concerned the blaze would spread.

Fire officials said everyone inside the home made it out safely. No firefighters were hurt battling the fire, but the house suffered extensive damage.

Authorities said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
