LRT-Car Crash Delays Blue, Green Lines In Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Metro Transit said both the green and blue lines of the light-rail transit were delayed Thursday morning following a crash involving a car.
The delays were announced not long after 9:30 a.m. About an hour later, Metro Transit said the accident was cleared.
Due to a car-train accident, Green and Blue Line trains are delayed in downtown Minneapolis near Government Plaza.

There was no immediate word how serious the crash was.
The delays were reported near the Government Plaza stop.
UPDATE: The accident has been cleared and trains are moving in downtown Mpls. Expect residual delays up to 20 minutes on Blue and Green Lines as we get back on schedule.
